Our Founder | Our Order | Our Inspiration
The Society of Jesus, commonly known as the Jesuits, was founded in 1540 by St. Ignatius of Loyola and his companions. Inspired by a desire to serve Christ and the Church, they dedicated themselves to the mission of faith, justice, education, and service throughout the world.
